Marcello Barlozzini has merged his life, work, and enjoyment into a single project: Fiorditerra, a young brand that embodies years of skilled craftsmanship, research, and experimentation. Inheriting a wealth of experience in terracotta from his father, Marcello chose to continue the family business founded in the 1940s, expanding into a new realm: ceramics. Nestled in the countryside near Tuscania, the workshop is a studio for expertly hand-molded forms and objects, shaped on the wheel or crafted in plaster molds, air-dried, and fired in large kilns. The pieces are either left in their natural terracotta finish or glazed and decorated. The workshop’s surroundings serve as a rich source of inspiration: the sea, the fields, an old tile, or an architectural element weathered by time.
