Cristiano Monzillo

Cristiano Monzillo dedicates himself to antique furniture restoration, adhering to traditional methods, and to wood-related applied arts, such as carving and creating furniture from reclaimed wood. He specializes in the Vienna straw weave but, in the last decade, has expanded to other styles of weaving: envelope weave, checkerboard, traditional weaves, and innovative patterns using alternative materials. A nautical enthusiast, he has crafted various kayaks and a Canadian canoe, along with accessories for small watercraft.
