Altieri Giuseppina

In early 1998, after an apprenticeship at Selleria E.M. Lastrai and more than ten years of professional experience in Rome, Altieri Giuseppina opened an artisanal workshop in Civitavecchia, her hometown, where she produces high-quality leather saddlery items and expertly repairs all types of saddles. For her work, she has been granted the “Artisanal Artistic and Traditional” certification by Regione Lazio.
Giuseppina Altieri: “If you don’t have a family tradition behind you, and you’re also a woman, you have to work hard to earn the credibility needed to operate in this male-dominated field. However, time and dedication have helped me make the solidity and beauty of my equestrian products known and appreciated.”
